There’s something undeniably special about springtime in New York City, and no location captures that magic quite like Central Park. With the cherry blossoms in full bloom, the early morning light casting a golden glow, and the city just beginning to stir, it's the perfect backdrop for a once-in-a-lifetime moment: a surprise marriage proposal.
As a NYC proposal and engagement photographer, I’ve captured countless special moments from proposals to weddings, and yes, everything in between. However, there’s something truly unforgettable about photographing a surprise proposal under the cherry blossoms in Central Park. For Jeff’s proposal we purposefully chose the Model Boat Sailing Pond (location here) for the cherry blossoms nearby, great morning light, and quieter setting vs Bethesda Fountain or other iconic locations throughout the park.

After the proposal, we spent a few more minutes exploring nearby paths and hidden corners for a short engagement session among the blooms.
