Douglaston Manor - Kevin Wolfe Architecture

It’s always a change of pace photographing interiors for an architect and an interior designer. In just an 8-10 hour day I might only photograph 6 rooms and walk away with 250 photos. Those 250 photos will then will be culled, edited, and delivered as 40 finished images. When photographing interiors each room must be meticulously staged with chairs, blankets, flowers, books, and whatever else you’d find in a home. Photographing interiors is a complete 180 from my usual university work, which is fast paced do to time constraints.

On this particular shoot, the homeowner was not living in the home and it was empty of furniture. Pam, our interior designer / stager, brought in all of the furniture, books, lights, plates, blankets, and whatever else you see in the above images. Our ability to work as a team proved vital to capturing vignettes of the home in just one day. As Kevin and Pam staged one room I’d shoot the room they previously built. Then, I’d move on to the next room and they would deconstruct the previous room, moving some of those props to the room I’d later photograph.

Kayla + Matt - Gatsby On The Ocean Wedding

Perfect. September 7th, 2019 was a perfect day for Kayla and Matty’s wedding with cool temperatures, a nice ocean breeze, and good spirits all around. Long Island’s newest wedding venue and event space, Gatsby on the Ocean at Jones Beach made the perfect backdrop to their wedding day.

Photographing a new long island wedding venue is an amazing experience.

America's VetDogs - 8th Annual Golf Classic

America’s VetDogs held their 8th Annual VetDogs Golf Classic on Monday, August 26, at the Huntington Country Club in Huntington, NY. This event raises additional funds to cover the costs to train and place the special dogs that are needed to help veterans return to a life of ease and independence.

Long Island Golf Fundraiser Event Photographer

The golf portion of the day began at 11 a.m. with the national anthem and a visit from Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone. The golf match consisted of foursomes competing for several hole-in-one prizes. One of the hole-in-one prizes was for a brand new 2019 Jeep Gladiator pickup truck. Later in the day, golfers and guests enjoyed a post-tournament cocktail hour, followed by dinner with a live auction and raffles.

Throughout the day several veterans and their dogs toured the course to meet their fans.

This Long Island Event Photographer loves photographing a Golf Fundraisers both here on Long Island and throughout NY!

City Hall Wedding - Katia + Joe

I love photographing simple weddings and a New York City Hall wedding is my definition of “simple wedding.” Katia and Joe made the jump on Friday August 23, 2019 in downtown Manhattan at City Hall. Post ceremony, we met for family photos and a private couples’ session in Lower Manhattan. Our shoot incorporated the hustle and bustle of the big city, and the contrasting calmness of it’s parks. This was definitely a nice break from the country club and catering hall weddings I often photograph.

NYC LSAT Class - TestMasters

“Engagement” and “active participation”, or in everyday terms “looking interested in what’s going on and participating”, not only make an image successful, but the ad and the message it’s associate with successful. Images like the ones above convey a message of “this class is not boring and the professor is not just lecturing”.

I have photographed for Test Masters of California before and every time I have photographed for them, I’ve always enjoyed the challenge. TestMasters provides me the creative freedom I seek when capturing images Higher Education style images.
